Upcoming event: Join our open PhD conference

You are invited to join the Homeside International PhD (HIP) group for a special day of presentations and discussions on research approaches in music therapy for dementia. The HIP group is made up of PhD students from around the globe who are involved in the Homeside trial. The group meets on a regular basis across different time zones, with students from Poland, Germany, Australia, Norway and the UK.

In this half-day conference, six HIP members will share insights into qualitative and mixed methods data analysis methods in the field of music therapy and dementia. Discussion sessions are scheduled across the conference, providing and opportunity for rich peer-to-peer discussion.

Event details

Conference title: “Exploring indirect music therapy for people with dementia: Approaches to analysing qualitative and mixed methods data”

Where: The event is hybrid, taking place both online and in person at the University of Applied Sciences in Würzburg. Conference site for in-person attendance: Randersackerer Strasse 15, 97072 Würzburg.

When: Monday 4th April 2022 / 7am-12pm (BST) / 8am-1pm (CEST) / 4pm-9pm (AEST)

Registration: Please e-mail kristi.stedje@nmh.no to register, by March 28th for in-person participation, and April 1st for online participation. There is no participation fee for this event.

Note that in-person participation depends on the COVID-19 regulations at the University for the first week of April. There may be restrictions regarding number of participants at the time. We will therefor either confirm in-person participation, or convert to digital participation, by March 30th.
