4-6 December Angelia Ruskin University hosted the 3rd international Homeside meeting, gathering reserchers from Australia, UK, Germany, Poland and Norway.

Cambridge Institute for Music Therapy Research at Anglia Ruskin University celebrated the official launch of HOMESIDE in the UK 4 December 2019

HOMESIDE researchers from Australia, Norway, Poland and Germany were there together with carers and loved ones of people living with dementia. UK's colleagues and local partners joined in too, among them representatives from the Alzheimer’s Society in the UK, which is the funder of the UK HOMESIDE partner. The launch was also a celebration of the years of work that have gone into the planning of the HOMESIDE study and the prospects on how it might benefit people living with dementia and their caregivers.

At the same time the official international HOMESIDE website was launched. This website has been developed by the Norwegian team in the HOMESIDE study.

The celebration culminated in a Public Research Lecture in the evening held by Professor Felicity Baker from the University of Melbourne, who is also the International leader of the HOMESIDE study.

The 3rd day of this HOMESIDE meeting was a PhD day. Five of our seven HOMESIDE PhD students presented  their projects.
